Artificial intelligence is a subarray of computer science that aims to build machines or computers that are as intelligent as people. Any device that perceives its environment and takes actions that maximize its chance of successfully achieving its goals is considered to be an "intelligent agent" according to the definition of computer science. John McCarthy, the inventor of artificial intelligence, defined it as "the science and engineering of making intelligent machine, especially intelligent computer programs.".

The technological singularity, or the moment when humans are surpassed by technology, is the ultimate goal of research into artificial intelligence.
In order to create expert systems, a system must display intelligent behavior, learn, show, explain, and offer advice to its consumer.
To incorporate human intelligence into machines, develop systems that comprehend and reason. to develop human manner.

Application of AI (Artificial Intelligence)

There are some applications of ai which is given below-

Handwriting recognition: The handwriting recognition software reads the text written on paper by a pen or on screen by a stylus .it can recognize the shapes of the letter and convert it into editable text.

speech recognition: it is the intelligent system which is capable of hearing and knowing the human language in terms of sentences and their meanings while a person talks to it.

Health care: by using ai in healthcare, managing medical records, doing repetitive jobs (like x-ray, CT scans), treatment design, virtual nurses, drug creation, health monitoring, healthcare system analysis are done easily and with an accurate result.

Gaming: ai plays crucial role in strategic games such as chess, poker, tic-tac-toe, etc., where machine can think of large number of possible positions based on heuristic knowledge.

Manufacturing sector: by using ai in the manufacturing sector the inspections, supervision, modifications and communication can be automated.

Intelligent robots: robots are capable of learning from their mistake and they can also adapt new environment and able to perform the task given by a human. they have sensors to detect physical data from the real world such as light, heat, temperature, movement, sounds, bump and pressure.
